Our bags are crafted in collaboration with the family-run Carrielarte company in Jericó, Colombia. The workshop works exclusively with carefully selected cowhide, some of which is sourced locally in Jericó and some from trusted suppliers in Medellín.
A special feature: Carrielarte is actively committed to protecting Colombian wildlife. No wild animal fur is used in its production. Species such as the tigrillo (Leopardus sp.) and the nutria (Lontra longicaudis), which have historically been under pressure from the leather industry, are thus consistently protected. This has also been confirmed by an official on-site inspection.
